Peyragudes is a ski resort in the French Pyrenees and is ideal for snowboarders. Every winter, this Pyrenean ski resort host the Pyrenees Snowboard Tour Masters, a tournament that saw the success of 2007 World Boardercross Champion, Vincent Valéry. Peyragudes offers the discovery of new winter sports, like Airboard (an inflatable toboggan) or speed riding (a new activity that combines skiing and paragliding). Peyragudes is a dynamic and young ski resort that was established in 1988 from the fusion of both Peyresourde and Agudes resorts. In the Larboust and Louron valley located between 1600m and 2400m, Peyragudes offers over 60km of alpine ski slopes, a Nordic area and a snowpark. Rent telemarking equipment to try this sport on its demonstration days. An amazing après-ski welcomes you, with the Balnéa centre and its 3 well-being areas: a roman area with lagoon and hydromassaging jets, Jacuzzis, musical baths, Turkish baths, Frigidarium (18°), Caldarium (36°), Tepidarium (32° hot tub), American Indian area: familial area with bubble beds, and a Tibetan area for hot rock massages. After a good day skiing, what's better than to unwind in a relaxing atmosphere? For snowball fights and skiing enthusiasts, come and try paintballing next to the Genos Loudenvielle Lake. For non skiers, Peyragudes offers lessons in igloo construction followed by a Savoyard traditional meal. Take a nocturnal snowshoeing walk or a star gaze from your igloo. When it comes to cultural après-ski, you will be able to visit the snow factory and Latin churches.
