Courmayeur-Plan Chécrouit is a winter sports resort located in the Aosta Valley on the Italian side of Mont Blanc. The resort makes the most of its geographical location with the spectacular Skyway cable car, which offers a stunning view of Mont Blanc and the entire neighbouring massif.
The ski area of Courmayeur-Plan Chécrouit has an altitude range of 1224 metres to 2763 metres. It gives visitors access to 95 km of alpine ski runs, with snow cannons serving over 80% of this area to ensure maximum cover throughout the season, as well as 20 km of tracks for cross-country skiers, offering splendid views of the Grandes Jorasses along the way. This Nordic ski area is considered to be one of the prettiest in the Aosta Valley.

You’ll also have the chance to enjoy a unique and exceptional freeriding space, by hurtling down the sides of Mont Blanc as well as those of Crête d’Alp and Mont Chétif. In fact, the Italian side of Mont Blanc is a heliskiing destination, so you can be dropped off at spots that are inaccessible on foot and descend the mountain’s pristine faces for an even greater rush.
Courmayeur-Plan Chécrouit also has a snowpark with an airbag, where daredevils can experience the thrill of jumps and the more experienced can try out new tricks safely.

It’s also worth knowing that Courmayeur offers many other activities as well as skiing, so there’s something for everyone. Those who like mountaineering have the opportunity to climb Mont Blanc, via the Voie du Pape route, and there’s a variety of other activities on offer too, such as thermal baths, ice skating, curling or indoor golf. To fill your evenings, Courmayeur has a cinema, several shops and ski hire outlets, as well as restaurants serving traditional Italian cuisine.
