Saint Jean d’Aulps is a family-friendly resort in the Alps that’s ideally situated between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. In the heart of Chablais, it’s the perfect destination for a relaxing family holiday away from the region’s crowded pistes. The resort enjoys nearly 400 hours of sunshine, which is more than the national average.
Experience pure seclusion on one of the many runs that wind through the pine forests of the Roc d’Enfer area, with its peaceful, natural setting. From the Swiss border, you can admire the scenery of the Combe de Graydon, the Dents du Midi and Lake Geneva.
Snow cover at the resort is never a concern: its snow cannons top up the snow on around 25 km of runs to ensure unhindered skiing and ideal conditions for its winter holidaymakers.
Saint Jean d’Aulps is spread out over an altitude range of 900 to 1800 metres. At this resort, where Nordic skiing is possible thanks to the large ski area accessible to skiers, you can partake in activities such as cross-country skiing, ski joëring, ice diving and luging. If it’s alpine skiing you’re after, you’ll benefit from 30 runs spread out over 50 km of slopes, and served by 16 ski lifts.
This resort caters for a range of skiing abilities: beginners can take advantage of the 7 green runs, the more experienced skiers will find 9 blue runs, and hardened experts can alternate between the 12 red runs and the 2 black runs.
As well as ski hire shops, this lively resort has welcoming bars and restaurants where you can spend time among friends or family or try the local specialities.
For your ski hire, choose our Muffat Sports shop, which is conveniently located below your accommodation, at the foot of the slopes.
