With a vertical descent of almost 1,100 m (between 1,600 m and 2,686 m altitude), the resort of Bad Gastein consists of 9 ski runs totalling 18 km of terrain. As soon as you leave the ski hire shop, fans can explore two black runs, six red runs and one blue run, all accessible via 3 ski lifts. However, plenty more awaits besides these options, as you can ski into the surrounding areas and the resort also has 9 km of Nordic skiing pistes.
