Scheffau is one of nine communities that make up SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, the largest ski area in Austria. This area has 284 kilometers of slopes and 91 ski lifts. Together, the ski resorts offer 70 huts and several ski rental shops. The area is located in the heart of Tyrol and has a high altitude, which ensures high quality snow throughout the winter.
The Scheffau ski area is located at an altitude of 745 meters and shares the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski area, with an altitude difference of about 1350 meters (between 620 and 1970 meters). After a visit to the ski rental shop, beginners and advanced skiers can head to one of the 225 ski slopes, which thanks to snow cannons are guaranteed snow for a length of 229 kilometers.
