At 1850m, Piau Engaly is the highest ski resort in the French Pyrenees. Located close to the Pyrenees National Park, Piau is next to the highest mountains in the Pyrenees, situated at 3000m. Piau Engaly benefits from good snowfall thanks to the altitude. Its also the ski resort with the biggest vertical drop of 1100m throughout the whole of the Pyrenees. The resort has been made a pedestrian zone, so you can happily walk through this alpine resort. Piau Engaly invites families to ski on the resort's 41 slopes with a protected area for beginner skiers. A snowpark is located at the bottom of the slopes with a 2km long flood lit slope open until 9pm which is powered by solar energy. The resort offers many activities such as: snow mobile rides, tobogganing, alpine skiing, snowshoeing and ice diving… With so much to do, you will never be bored in Piau Engaly!
