Gourette Eaux-Bonnes is a ski resort set in the Atlantic Pyrenees, and is south facing. It is set between the Coch and Pène-Blanque sectors and is overlooked by the Pic de Latte de Bazen, just to the West of the pic du Sanctus and the Pène Médaa at (2520m). The Gourette ski village has excellent snow conditions, whilst offering all sorts of sporting activities such as : torch lit ski descents, a snowpark, tobogganing run, and boardercross facilities. Gourette is a handiski resort and is equipped with ski lift passages reserved for the physically disabled who are ski fanatics. Specialised professionals offer ski lessons and hikes for the disabled so that they can experience the adrenalin of skiing. In 2008 the Gourette ski resort obtained the ISO 14001 norm, that concerns environmental management (e.g reduction of noise disturbances during the snowmaking process).
