La Toussuire is a family and sporty ski resort located on a vast plateau in the Northern Alps, at 1800m. It's at the summit of the Ouillon that La Toussuire offers skiers a magnificent 360° panorama. It is also the highest grassy massif in Europe at 2431m. In the heart of the Sybelles domain, with over 310km of marked slopes and a good vertical drop, La Toussuire is a beginner and intermediate skiers paradise. There are activities to suit all tastes at La Toussuire : snowboarding, alpine skiing, cross country skiing, ski touring, telemarking, snowblading, ski mobile, Joëring Ski… French slalom champion, Jean-Pierre is La Toussuires home champion and still carries out his training here. When it comes to trying new sports, come and discover the sport of “snake gliss” (collective tobogganing, like a caterpillar) : the toboggans are connected to one another, which is ideal for a good laugh with friends. For the après-ski, La Toussuire offers genuine friendly evenings with family or friends. For curious skiers interested in history and local culture, make the best of your trip and visit the Opinel museum and heritage museum, as well as all the baroque churches.
