By taking the Du rail au Cable cable car, you can discover the opposite side of Les Hoches. Here you can participate in a history tour about lift mechanics and visit the ruins of the Saint Michel castle which dates back from the XVI th century, together with baroque churches , chapels and traditional bread ovens & oratories. There is plenty to see for nature lovers such as the Merlet park, Diosaz gorges and the natural Carlaveyron reserve.
