Super Besse is located in Massif Central at the bottom of Puy de Sancy, the highest mountain of the region. It received the label “famille plus” which means that the ski resort is family-oriented and offers a large number of activities for the whole family, including children from 18 months.  Its connection with the slopes of the Mont-Dore ski resort is a real benefit with 84 km of slopes in total in the “Grand Sancy” skiing area (Super Besse and Mont-Dore resorts added together), from 1350m to 1850 meters high. It doesn’t matter if you are an excellent skier or a beginner, you will find the perfect slope!

Do you prefer cross-country skiing? You’ll find 150km of slopes in Super Besse. Snowshoe hiking, ski touring or snow kiting are other alternatives to alpine skiing. A lot of après-ski activities are organized in the resort, especially for children. The “fantasticable” zip-line is the new attraction of the area:  you can “fly” over the ski slopes and the Hermine Lake, 240 m below.  Thrills guaranteed!
