Val di Fiemme has 5 main ski areas: Alpe Cermis, Ski Centre Latemar, Bellemonte-Alpe Lusia, Rolle and Lavaze-Oclini. With your ski pass, you can gain access to 100km of interconnected and high quality slopes. In the heart of the Latemar ski area, the Tesero ski resort has over 42 km of ski slopes. This area is renowned for its Nordic skiing as the resort and its Centro del Lago di Tesero offer 18km of cross country trails. The center hosted the World Nordic ski Championships in 1991 & 2001. The village of Tesero has also signed up for the next 2011 Olympic Games. The Latemar ski area has various freestyle areas adapted to beginner and expert snowboarders.
