Berwang is a charming ski resort located in the Austrian Tyrol, in the heart of the Alps. With its cross-country ski trails and spectacular descents, Berwang is the ideal place for winter sports enthusiasts of all levels.
Located at an altitude of 1,300 meters, the Berwang ski resort offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and snowy landscape. The ski area is connected to the Bichlbach ski area and thus forms the largest ski area in Tyrol with more than 100 km of marked trails.
Berwang is also known for its annual event, the Night of Lights, which takes place every year in January. During this event, the resort is illuminated with fireworks and lanterns, providing a magical spectacle for all visitors.
Besides skiing, Berwang also offers a variety of other winter activities, such as sledding, snowshoeing and ice skating.
The Berwang resort is easily accessible by car or train from Innsbruck, which is about an hour and a half away. If you prefer to fly, the nearest airport is Innsbruck, about 80 km from the resort.
