The largest ski area in Canada is formed by two mountains: Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain. From Whistler Mountain, experienced skiers and snowboarders will be able to enjoy the black and red runs covered with excellent quality light powder snow. From the top of the mountain, you will even be able to jump from small cliffs and set out along the vertiginous off-piste runs! Blackcomb Mountain offers an altitude difference of more than 1,600 metres! You will even find one of the ten steepest corridors in the world, the “Extreme corridor”. These two mountains offer exceptional quality skiing and lively debates can be heard discussing which is the best. Thanks to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, new infrastructure has been installed, such as bobsleigh and sledge runs, cross-country trails, a ski jump and a large snowpark! You will also be able to try the Men’s or Women’s downhill slope and realise for yourself just how good the Olympic champions are. Various other structures are also available in Blackcomb, such as bars and restaurants, nightclubs, spa, nurseries, ski schools, relaxation area on the edge of the lake, and all the associated summer and winter activities. And, of course, you are able to benefit from the advice of mountain professionals when hiring your skis at one of our Skiset shops!
